Prologue Part 2 of 2

This boat ride is a rip off...
On the second day I was in Miri, I thought I'd visit the cave that I learn about in history lessons back in school: our very own Niah Cave.

I thought I'd get lost on my way there but the road is full of signs and it only took about an hour drive from Miri.  I thought I'd be able to drive along the beach but was a little bit disappointed as I can't really see the sea even though I'm driving along it.

I didn't bring my dslr with me so here's just some photos for sharing, taken with an N8.

Prologue Part 1 of 2

I have my first taste of escape thanks to the long 3 day weekend.  I took the chance and drive all the way to Miri from Kuching.  Insipired by Top Gear, I thought I'd challenge myself racing against time, but since I'd never survive to post about this if I drive at night, I departed at dawn instead.

Dawn! Go go go!
Since people will say that I need a picture to proof that I've driven all the way to Miri, here's a picture of a dog:

Really, this is a Miri dog.

Hello World

I.  Must.  Escape.

Hello world.  This is the first post of a my little blog here.  Nothing too fancy, not too much to see.

Those who read this post probably already knew me.  I've probably sent you a link and go "Hey guys!  Look at me new blog!" and you probably reluctantly click on it just to shut me up, but thank you a lot even for that.

But for those who don't know me, I'm nothing but one of the many millions of (probably unappreciated) software engineers/cubicle dwellers out there in the world, either directly or indirectly have a tiny part in your life.  I love to code more than I love to... well... removing tiny pebbles stuck in my tire treads with a screw driver, but something has to change.

I don't know what will happen.  This might be a short blogging stint that I'll update regularly until I got my next full time job (I'm still employed by the way... must.. escape..), continue on my daily routine to  start a small island nation and rule with an iron fist  climb up the career ladder;  Or this might turn into a full sabbatical blog for a whole year, while I try out things I never thought of doing..?
